Dr. Florence earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Melbourne, Australia, in 2014. After returning to Hong Kong, she dedicated the next 10 years working in varies small animal practices. During this time, she completed two internships at Veterinary Specialty Hospital (VSH) under the mentorship of specialists, where she refined her surgical techniques.
Dr. Florence enjoys doing soft tissue surgeries, with a particular focus on intricate procedures. She also routinely performs orthopedic surgeries for common diseases, such as cruciate ligament injuries, patellar luxation and hip luxation. Committed to lifelong learning, she continuously seeks advanced training to broaden her surgical capabilities and deliver cutting-edge care.
Dr. Florence is passionate about shelter medicine, dedicating time and skills to treat rescued animals in need. Her dedication to animal welfare extends to her personal life: she is a proud “pawrent” to a Golden Retriever and seven domestic shorthaired cats—all adopted from shelters.
